Relationship between forms of speed manifestation and modern technical measurement tools in 14-18 year old students
B. Zlatevorcid, H. Andonovorcid
Abstract: Objective: The study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between the forms of manifestation of speed in 14-18-year-old students and to present modern means of measuring them. Materials and methods: The study was conducted with 68 boys and 84 girls from 21 “Hristo Botev” High School. Results: Comparing the two trials with the "Touch the Light" test, we find that there is almost no difference in performance between the two trials. Regarding the "Run 30 m" test, we find that the second attempt is better than the students' first attempt. Discussion: The results presented through variation analysis of the following trends the second trials in the performance of the two tests, "Run 30 m" and "Touch the light" were better than the first, but they were not statistically significant. Regarding the normality of performance using the As and Ex indices, we find that they are within the norm. The coefficient of variation for all the metrics studied is less than 10%, the sample being highly homogeneous. Conclusion: The data obtained and processed from this study show that there is no correlation between the forms of manifestation of quickness in 14-18-year-old students, both boys and girls. An exception was observed in the 30 m Run test between the first and second attempts for both genders.
