Innovative approach in the preparation of elite female handball players
I. Yotov
Abstract: Handball today is characterized by continuous intensification of game action in offense and defense. This intensity is due to a targeted increase of the player's velocity and strength training as well as to their improved individual technique of female handball players.
All actions in the game are ultimately aiming to create optimal conditions for performing throws in the goal. They are performed either over the defense player or after outgoing the latter. Their diversity and efficiency evolves with the improvement of the game.
One of the most important factors for effective implementation of throws in the goal is the velocity of the boll. It depends on the technical capabilities of the players and their velocity-strength training, which is why the methodology in this work focuses on the use of biomechanical analysis for optimization of handball techniques when performing throws.
A cybernetic approach was applies to throwing technique training.
