The effect of using a teaching aid for the stage of passing over the hurdle on some kinematic variables of the sprints hurdles

Abstract: Designed of a teaching aid for the stage of passing over the hurdle, and examine its impact on the values of some of the kinematic variables in a way that contributes to the addition of new inputs to the educational process. The results found that there are statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in favour of the experimental group affected by the independent variable (the use of educational aids for the stage of passing over the hurdle in the educational program) in the variables for the length of the hurdle step (P = 0.01; F = 12.52) as well as the technical performance level (P = 0.02; F = 9.30). The effect size values (β) ranged from (0.46 to 0.61), which are fundamental values showing the influence of the experimental group on the independent variable. The researchers concluded that the use of educational aids for the stage of passing above the hurdle has had a significant impact on saving the effort and time exerted by the teacher and students to learn the hurdle running.
