Abstract: The in vivo influence of polysorbate TWEEN 80 on somatic health in experimental rats was evaluated by the aid of the haematological / hemorheological methods: blood cell count, hematocrit, blood plasma viscosity, erythrocyte deformability, RBC aggregation, quantitative index of RBC aggregability, etc. Tween 80 does not affect the total blood composition and hemorheological properties, except RBC count and blood aggregation capacity. Microcirculation in experimental animals was not affected under direct influence of TWEEN 80 on the small vessels’ (capillaries) walls.
