Modeling of formation and destruction of bacterial clusters in water-bacteria-hydrocarbon system

Abstract: The surface phenomena on the interface dividing the suspension of Rhodococcus cells and the liquid hydrocarbon are considered. The deterministic and the stochastic modelling of the time dependence of surface tension coefficient are carried out. The instability of this dependence is explained by random variations of the degree of the formation of integrated film of cells.
