Second Conference Biomechanics Days of the Bulgarian Society of Biomechanics

Abstract: The present issue of Journal "Series on Biomechanics", vol. 29, No 3, 2015 contains selected peer-reviewed papers presented at the "Biomechanics Days-2014", November 20-21 2014, Sofia, Bulgaria. The aim of the conference was to carry on the traditions of the Institute of Mechanics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and BSB in organizing local and international conferences and providing the biomechanics community with an opportunity of exchanging new ideas and experience.
Conference topics focused on classical as well as modern methods of investigation and modeling of biomechanical systems with applications in science, engineering and sport, namely: biomechanics and gait control, computer methods in biomechanics, cellular and molecular biomechanics, rheology of biological tissues and fluids.
