Kinematic variables contribution for the accuracy of shooting among handball players

Abstract: This study aims to identify the effect of some mechanical variables on the accuracy of throw in 7m shooting in handball. The study sample consisted of randomly selected 10 male players from the Mutah University’s handball team in Jordan where a descriptive approach method was utilized. Researchers used the multiple linear regression equation in the stepwise method. The results showed the contribution of the variables in shooting angle, the height of the shooting angle, and the wrist angle at the moment of shooting. The accuracy of shooting in the 7m throw in handball is within different statistical percentages. Training programs to expand and develop the mechanical variables that affect the accuracy of shooting in the 7m throw are recommended.
