Correlation between erythrocyte aggregation and adhesion of leukocytes to the endothelium
A. Alexandrova, N. Antonova
Abstract: The aim of work is to overview the studies dedicated to the relationship between the aggregation of red blood cells (RBC) and adhesion of white blood cells (WBC) in the flow. There is an evidence of correlation between erythrocyte aggregation and marginated leukocytes which effect the adhesion of leukocytes to the vascular wall. In the current review are considered the processes of erythrocyte aggregation, the margination of leukocytes, the leukocyte adhesion and their connection.
