Резюме: Implant therapy is the most relevant therapeutic solution completely and partially edentulous. However, the implant often provokes inflammation, which is an integral part of the pathophysiological response to a foreign agent. Any inflammatory process is reflected in the biochemical and rheological changes in the fluids of the surrounding tissues (blood, saliva). The aim of the study was to determine the functional indicators of saliva to evaluate the implant’s integration. Patients included in the clinical study had a dental implant (hexagonal or cone-shaped) placed in the chewing group of teeth in the mandible The values of all studied parameters were determined before and after implantation. The rheological properties of saliva (salivation rate, surface tension and viscosity), and the content of nitric oxide (NO) were studied. The rheological properties of peripheral blood (blood rheological index of red blood (BRI) in silico) were also studied. The values of all studied parameters were determined before and after implantation. Results of the research showed that the rheological properties of saliva and blood, NO content in the saliva to a certain can reflect the healing process and the degree of inflammation. The advantages of using conical implants in comparison to hexagonal in relation to the development of inflammation had a temporary character and didn’t ultimately determine the success of implantation. Consequently, the rheological indicators of saliva and peripheral blood, also NO content in the saliva can be used to monitor the evaluation of the quality of dental implantation and possible complications.
