Kinetic variables affecting the weightlifter during the falling under the barbell stage and its relationship with jumping distance and balance time under the barbell during the snatch lift
M. Manea, S. Saaed, U. Hasan
Резюме: This study presents a kinematic analysis of the stage of the fall of weightlifters under the barbell, which is very important for the technical performance stages of the snatch lift. The purpose of the study is to investigate some kinetic variables of the weightlifter at this stage and the extent of this stage’s relationship with the jumping distance of the weightlifter during the performance of the lift and the balance time of the weightlifter under the barbell. The participants are seven athletes from the Iraqi national team of weightlifters (seniors). The results revealed a significant correlation between the kinetic variables with both jumping distance and balance time, with correlation coefficients ranging from -.49 to .85, which were significant values (P <0.05). The effect size values (β) ranged from (.642 to .726), which are fundamental values showing the relationship between the variables. The researchers concluded that a weightlifter’s levels of momentum, energy and power at the stage of falling under the barbell are related to his balance time and how long he remains under the barbell in a squatting position.
